Where Local Vending really is local vending

After providing vending services in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the East Midlands for over a 30 Years, we can say with confidence that our knowledge and experience of this fantastic area, combined with our extensive expertise in the vending industry, allows us to offer a truly local vending service.

Local Vending is proud to be an independent, privately British owned and operated company based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire since 1990. We are committed to providing high quality vending, with great customer service for the East Midlands.

When the company's founders (and still owners and operators) created Local Vending, they wanted to provide a reliable, competitive and flexible a range of vending services that businesses need in today's competitive environment.

We pride ourselves in providing regular employment for people within our operating area if possible, and the founders have always resided within the area in which Local Vending operates.

Our central location allows us to offer great free delivery of supplies and ingredients (call us before 10am) with fast access to both Derby and Nottingham and throughout our large vending area.

One of the reasons we have continued to grow, year on year, is our friendly and experienced staff always try to cater our services to your individual needs, which means we can give our customers fantastic deals and services with this flexible approach.

This allows our customers to vary their vending requirements as their needs change. We can provide you with a machine for a year, a few water coolers for a few days or provide your entire suite of offices with complete vending services, offering as much or as little assistance as your require to keep your customers, employees or guests completely happy.

The environment and our vending

Like almost all businesses we know our activities have an impact on our environment.

At Local Vending we are committed to lessening this impact wherever practically and economically possible.

We won't pretend it's possible for us to be completely 100% carbon neutral and but we do believe we can reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible:

  • All our bottled spring water comes from a local supply of very high quality Swithland Spring Water from a pure source deep within the Charnwood Hills in Leicestershire.
  • Reducing our energy needs (and therefore costs) wherever we can.
  • Recycling as much as possible (including our machines and parts).
  • Provide recycled packaging with products within our control.
  • Providing our customers with a personal service and listening to them when trying the reduce the impact of vending on their own environmental goal.
  • Recycling our vending machines and parts and ensure all viable and still economical machines are able to provide years of reliable service.
  • Using ecologically sound recyclable packaging materials wherever we can.
  • Provide local ingredients and spring water, where possible, that are from sustainable sources
  • Where possible, ensure the recycling of our products and packaging without relying on our customers. We currently recycle our waste in the following categories: plastics, paper, cardboard, metals and general.
  • Operate an open policy between customers, staff and suppliers, on ideas and practical solutions so our business can both move forward and reduce our impact on the environment.
